Nigel is a producer with decades of experience across film, television, and commercial production. After 30 years as director of Clock End Films, his background spans strategy, development, and large-scale production, including work on major Australian and international projects and TVCs. Nigel brings deep production expertise, creative leadership, and a practical understanding of how to deliver complex work efficiently — from concept through to execution.

Nigel began his professional career in London as a Book Editor at Business Publisher Kogan Page before moving on to become an Industrial Market Research Consultant for a number of UK, US & European based companies.

A change of career led him to the National Film & TV School outside London where he produced a number of award winning shorts whilst at the same time producing corporate & music videos and his first feature Funny Man with the late Christopher Lee.

In 1998 he co-founded Melbourne-based Instinct Entertainment where he produced features Muggers, Till Human Voices Wake Us, Strange Bedfellows & Torn. During his time at Instinct he was also a member of Film Victoria’s Evaluation Advisory Committee and served two terms on the Screen Producers Australia Council

In 2006 he became Australian Head of Production and Acquisitions at LA based Arclight Films where he produced Long Weekend. In 2010 he joined the University of Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts to run the Producer Post Graduate Diploma Course. 

In 2012 Nigel recommenced production activities through Clock End Films with Cliffy, a telemovie for the ABC, currently showing on ABC iView. He then Executive Produced two seasons of Hoges: One Night Only, a nationwide one man show with Paul Hogan as well as being an Executive Producer at Melbourne based Crank Films where we created TVC’s for Hyundai, Holden and others.

In 2019 he produced The Very Excellent Mr Dundee with Paul Hogan, now showing on Amazon Prime. He is currently running a development slate of a dozen film and TV projects.
